Mysterious oil leak
First I'd like to say thank you to you guys I've been looking over your forms for the last 6 or 7 hours trying to pinpoint my problem. I am mechanically inclined this is the first time I have ever worked on a Honda let alone front wheel drive. I have recently replace the valve cover gasket and the old pan gasket yet the cover for the timing belt still is wet underneath and I'm still leaking oil. I added a quart of oil last night around 1 a.m. and this morning I checked it and it had already leaked out I've yet to pull the crank cover completely off but looking I don't see any oil in the bottom of it however on the exterior there's oil not quite sure where to go or if I should pull the motor out and replace other gaskets
It helps to know EXACTLY what kind of car we are talking about. If it's a 90-93 accord it's possible the front balance shaft seal has blown out. It should have a plate holding it in but for those that don't have the plate installed(after a recall was done by Honda) it allows the front balance shaft seal to blow out. It could be just the cam and crank seals leaking as well.
It might be best to have a shop replace the timing belt, balance belt, water pump(all three parts do come in a kit) and seals if it hasn't been done in atleast 75k or so. You can call around to find a shop that will do the job at the best price.

I do know the timing belt had been changed within the last 8 months I just recently bought it for my daughter and there's a list of receipts farts that came with it and that was one of them
If the car was not driven, highly unlikely that the valve cover is the cause of the leak. Possibly the crank seal, however more likely it would be the rear main seal, as that is the lowest point besides the oil pan.
If the engine was on but not driven, oil may leak out through the distributor O ring, distributor oil seal, or any of the various front oil seals, cam, balance shafts, crank.
If the car was driven, all of the above areas, plus the VTEC solenoid(if applicable valve cover will have 'VTEC' if the engine has it) should be checked for any oil leakage.
Best way to determine is to thoroughly clean the engine/engine bay with a green cleaner(409, Simple Green, etc) and hose down the engine bay to remove the build up. I prefer a warm engine and a trip to the coin-op and the soap sprayer after letting the green cleaner soak in and do its job.
Look under and behind the distributor, very easy for the engine to piddle out oil that way, it will get blown back and down the back side of the engine. Airflow underhood can be fairly turbulent, where oil is found may not be near where the oil leak is actual.
If the head was not cleaned and no sealant used on the valve cover corners(image) then oil will leak there.
