Default Please Help. VAFC Question

I recently installed a VAFC in my 01 ITR. My " Check Engine " light came on and I am curious as to what could be causing this to happen. I am 99 % positive that everything is hooked up right so I am stumped. My mechanic friend is coming over to scan the system to see what he finds. I thought I remember hearing that the VTM signal wire was not supposed to be used or something. I am wondering if that is true and I am wondering what everyones opinions are on this problem. My friend is coming over soon so I would love to be able to cross refference what I find out here versus what he finds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check to see that the sensors are set at 6 and 6. That is what fixed mine. If that is not the problem, contact apex. Just e-mail them through apex.com. They respond fairly quick. I could be that sensor # setting, maybe a bad ground, I know that can do it as well.

I'll have to check when I get back to work on Monday, but I was just on there and noticed it was not there. There used to be an address in the same place the phone #'s were. I'll post my results tomorrow morning.

first verify that you have the sensors at 6. then pull the code.

http://www.bseries.net/html/garage/engcode.php

the code will tell you which wire you connected incorrectly. edit: so post the code(s) here when you check it.
