Default Battery on/off - Now highbeam turns on instead of lowbeam on switch

Well i just done some work on my EK3, 2000... Now im having this weird problems with my lights like da ****. I changed the distributor cap, rotor & fuel filter. And to do the fuel filter I disconnected the battery till I was done with the fuel filter. But after having the new parts sorted and ready to go, I noticed that the light switch isn't working as it should. When going into low beam mode, it automatically activates high beams... The normal pull for high beam still works as desired. All the other lights still work as desired too?

I feel like it is due to bad ground they worked FINE before todays work. How to go about it though? I need to go out tonight lol

ty!!

The fuses seem to be ok, and the battery aswell.. Likely for both headlights to give out after battery disconnect / reconnect? {Low Beams}
