Okay, I'm not the most experienced when it comes to diagnosing or fixing issues with cars, but I have done a little. My honda started out running a little hotter than usual, then got a rough idle and was bouncing anywhere from 1000rpms to 3000 rpms. This was in the summer so it was still starting and running just fine. Then it got cold and my car intermittently won't start. I thought it was just too cold but it started in 1 degree weather. Anyway, when I crank the engine it'll almost start and sputter and keep trying, but if i let go of the key and keep the gas pedal all the way down, it sounds like its still trying which is weird to me. I cleaned the IACV and checked the main relay.
i don't have diagnosing tools, so any thing that will get me as close as possible to the issue without having to invest in those is appreciated.
