Default Car starting issue after APEXI DECS Tach installed

Hi,

I got a civic with h22 swap. It was running normal. I was installing APEXI DECS Tach and now the car start and dies. Sometimes it wont start it just keep turning over. I have read the manual for the tach ( red wire to 12v, green goes to back of cluster blue wire, black to ground and yellow to parking light). I wired the sensor for oil pressure too by removing the stock sensor and running new wire for the tach to the new sensor. I have no oil leaks. Do you think guys that there is short somewhere? Or something wrong with the oil sensor installation? Any advice would be appreciated.

Why would you run the tach wire to the new oil pressure sensor?

edit: how did you wire the oil pressure sensor? With the provided harness?

I followed the provided instructions. The tach comes with oil pressure sensor and coolant sensor. There is one single wire goes from the back of the tach to the oil pressure sensor and the other single wire goes to the temp sensor. The other four wire for the tach one for the 12v and one for ground and one for the tach and the last for the parking lights. The tach works no problem and sensors reading are ok but the car sometimes starts and dies immediately or start for a minute and dies

remove tach wiring and restore original if you can and test again. It might have been a way you tapped into the tach wire.

The Same! I just pulled the codes and i am getting code 4. Crank position sensor which makes me think that while installing the tach, the distributor wires got shorted.

how is that even possible if you didn't touch it, all you would need to do is tap into the blue wire behind the cluster?
