2000 Honda Civic engine harness

I need some help I bought a 2000 Honda Civic hatch shell i put a y8 in it I didn’t have a wire harness for the engine so I found a part out of a 96 Honda Civic i took the starter the dizzy everything I needed but there’s a extra plug we’re i plug in the ecu cuz the inside harness is from a 2000 wat should I do I also took the inside harness of the 96 civic so should I just change the inside harness too so it will work lmk please really need this help

tried spraying the starting fluid?
if that doesnt work get an high energy ignition spark tester
for 10 bucks or so. if spark is good buy or rent compression gauge.
free with deposit at many auto stores.
