Cable Reel or Clockspring Replacment for '99 Civic EX
So my clockspring(cable reel) I think is busted. My horn didn't work and my SRS light was on. I was looking for my part but it seems my part #77900-S04-A91 is more than I want to spend. I can't find any uses parts on ebay or auto stores near me. A new one cost $70+. Mine also has cruise control which I never use. I just want to use my horn and make sure my airbags works.
I thought about going to the junkyard and pulling one. But I'm not sure what I'm looking for to make sure it is compatible. Any suggestions.

Does cruise control definitely not work? Last time my SRS light came on, it was the SRS control unit under the dash that failed. I only found that after after replacing cable reel first.
If you've got a good pick-n-pull near you, you should find one for short money, or see if someone is parting a Civic near your on CL.
Be sure to follow the install procedure on these so that it's clocked correctly.
