Spoon Flywheel Question

Default Spoon Flywheel Question

if you have a after market flywheel such as spoon an you change your clutch or replace the flywheel with the factory piece,is re-surfacing possible on spoon flywheels or is it done for? if its re-surfaced will this mess up the balance?if it is possible who schould i have do it?

Steve: If you are replacing the FW and clutch, you can just clean the flywheel with brake cleaner and install all the new parts. If you haven't bought it already, the Toda FW is slightly easier to install (holes for screwdriver for us lazy we todds) and doesn't have the starter problem that the Spoon has with the USDM ITR starter.
