Default Engine lagging under acceleration

Hey. So my engine lags hard when I give it gas. It stops reving at around 3k in second gear when I'm giving it full throttle. I have a video here of the problem.
I was thinking maybe a maf sensor, 02 sensor, or maybe something in the fuel system. The car is a 1993 Honda civic and has a D16Z6. Any help would be amazing.

Basic checks...
What is the fuel pressure?
Check both mechanical. [valve] timing and electrical timing.
Use an HEI spark tester to check the spark at each cylinder, [should be bright blue].
Do a compression test.94

well I can tell you 100% it's not a MAF issue because your car doesn't have one. First thing I would do is check fuel pressure and take a look at your spark plugs. If fuel pressure is normal, start checking for spark. If you don't have good fuel, then you know it's an injector/fuel pump/fuel filter problem. If it's a spark issue, check plugs, wires, distributor etc.

I will check the fuel pressure tomorrow when I have the chance. When I started it it also smelled like gas. I just changed the fuel pump relay about 2-3 weeks ago.
