Yes I've already searched and didn't find the info I was looking for. About 2 weeks ago I dropped a 00' b18c1 into my 94 ex coupe. Everything went fine except my tach and cruise control are not working, I"m using an obd1 p72, my original main harness and the original engine harness from the new motor (obd2) Everything operates as normal, Vtec engages, I've hit the rev limiter several times, so it's aparently only the tach and cc that are malfunctioning. Also the cluster was never removed or tampered with during the swap, and no wiring was changed. Any suggestions or feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

ok i can help you out with the tach but the cc i have know idea cause my hatch didnt come with it
same set up p72 ok i recently did the swap like a month and a half ago i put a b18c in my 93 dx civic hatch i too had the same problem came hear and asked but no responce but here goes ok you have to manually hook up the wire its a simple one wire hook up from the tach to the distributor on the driver side next to the fire wall right next to the slave cilinder where you put fluid for your clutch there are two plugs. should be gray plugs youll knowticce.
ok on one of the plugs youll see a missing wire like it goes to the plug but doesnt come out its blue splice it and throw a wire all the way to the distributor there will be a blue wire there put them together and presto your tach is working again . good luck with the cc. if you need pics or some thing i could help you out
PS
the plug is the one closest to the little stick to prop open the hood should be the only wire missing on the harnest their youll see it

Thanks, If I can get my tach working I'll be happy, don't really care about cc, I just figured it was the same problem causing them both not to work.
obd2 cars use tach line from ecu to cluster, on obd1 it goes from distributor straight to cluster....
so u need to run a line from the distributor to a connector on the driver side up on the firewall near the clutch and brake master cyclinders, the exact pin config escapes me at the moment....maybe someone can help with the exact pinouts
this is FACT, i had to do it in my car...
