CEL, radio and tach not working
Hello,
New member here. Long time lurker for my civic, but I just purchased an 05 CRV, 91k miles that has some problems.
The seller said he installed a new battery and something happened and the radio now says "error" and won't work. I also saw the CEL was not coming on when turning the key into the position before starting the car.
OBD2 only shows P0135, so I don't think it was intentionally messed with.
The tach also sticks while driving; jumps up about 1000 rpm at a time.
Googling shows problems with the instrument panel can happen when improperly messing with the stereo, but the stereo is original.
Fueses all all look good, but I'm going to check all of them again.
Does the CEL have a bulb or is it LED? Any help is greatly appreciated.
