Hey fellas got a situation I'm stumped on and need help 😐 How in the world does one access the bottom 10mm bolt of the DC2 thermostat housing? I've seemingly attempted every angle and socket extension strategy I could come up with but just can't angle into it properly.

Ultimately the biggest problem is a metal ridge/hump on the starter which prevents a straight path onto the bolt.

I've been able to get a small box wrench onto the bolt but it's going to strip it (saw it beginning when I applied force). This is quite honestly the most awkward angle for bolt I've come across in a *long* time. Any and all help is appreciated

 

Remove the starter. If its in the way.

 

I think I'll have to do that today, yeah. Will report back.
