Best informative resources..
What would you guys think the best resources would be to learn more about your engine? (taking it apart etc..)
Chilton, Helms, Haynes??
Thanks in advance..

take it apart.....for sure....but if you dont wanna spend the money putting it back together.....and risking putting it together wrong.....helms is the best book....
my advice to you.....go buy a blown up single bammer.....or a good one....and take it apart every bolt....every nut....things will begin makin sense....and then all you have to do is then migrate that knowledge to b and h series

my friend and i took apart his blown b18b with just a helm's manual. easiest thing ever. alot of stuff is common sense tho and you should be able to figure out without having to look in a manual. helms was good for knowing the tightening sequences, etc for head stud yudda yudda yudda.
for helms
for helms
I made the mistake of getting the chiltons first, and let me tell you, you get what you paid for. Get the Helms. Its one of the best ones out there imho. Chiltons and Haynes don't even compare. Good luck!
