1998 Accord Vtec cyc valve job cost?
My 98 Vtech 6 cyc is burning LOTS of oil, like 1k miles per court. Assuming the compression is good (low would mean it could be burning oil there) at 120K what would be other reasons for the mass loss? Motor is clean NO oils on it. WHen T/C and W/P were replaced the mech noted no issues there. I would think it is a valve job in need? What would it cost on a car like mine?
Will you be doing any of the work yourself, like removing the heads? or are you looking for a drop off and pick up price?
Prices will vary from city to city and shop to shop. Best bet would be to call around and get some quotes.

I would not be doing any of the work. If a ref point on cost from a shop, I had a shop do my t/c and w/p for 825 bucks. Most shops were quoting 950 and my guy used a Honda WP.
+1 to the comment about geographical location making a difference. PCV OK? What are the compression and leakdown test results? In my area, I figure I'd be lucky to not exceed $2K assuming an ASE certified tech did the actual work; plus some dependencies on how many parts actually are replaced in the heads. Guess I'm lucky as my son's 99 V6 at 120K consumes virtually no oil.
I replaced the PCV. Still same issue of burning. I have not have the compression and leak down stuff done yet. Figure that would be done to determine what this issue is when I am ready to fix it. For now just hit the trip tic every time I add a quart and about 1k later ad more and reset.
Every quart of oil that you add is taking life from your O2 sensors and your catalytic converter(s). Fix the issue now or it will cost you more down the road, in fuel and parts.
If you don't want to fix it, drop it and buy something newer, with less issues. These aren't like the old carb'd engines where you could just keep adding oil for years. These engines require clean combustion and exhaust to operate efficiently.
