walboro 355 I believe.

I have 10k in just the shop bill for the turbo kit, management, and engine build a little over a year ago not including the type R swap. I'm in no rush to sell or do I really care if it does. This is just me testing the waters, I'm happy to keep it forever. Hope that clears things up at where I'm at. Thanks everyone. Bump

I have been considering picking this car up, There aren't any comparable cars close to this on here as claimed above (I know I've been looking). IMO The money is more than there, it's just going to take the right buyer. I hope I can scrounge up the rest of the funds.

Have the funds and know what it takes to build a car just like this. We had one with exact same turbosetup traction bar etc. it had type r interior however but this is around a 20-25k build the one we built was just as clean as he mentioned ours went 10.20s on slicks bogart wheels and we could've squeezed more out of it with exact turbo. This one has a wire tuck tho and that's nice. So I feel you bro it takes more than ppl think to build a clean car like this.

I sold my 10 second streetcar on here 10 years ago for 15k, and that's when 10 second street driven cars were hard to come by.. and that's also when it was a turn key top 10 SFWD class car.. so I don't want to hear "what it takes to build a car".. I know what it takes.. to be frank I think I had about 17k into my build, so to get 2 full seasons out of it, and then only loose 2k, id say its doable.. but what do I know

Holy **** you got taken for a ride then.

You expect me to believe a turbo kit, CSS, some supertech crap, and Hondata is 10 grand??

This car is nice, and looks clean, but asking 18K is crackhead level.

lol no one said you didn't know what it takes oh btw this was 13 years ago as well and I let it go for 12k. I was just saying how much it cost especially if you don't do all the work yourself. My block was done by a guy out of jackaonville fla named don. I say that to say this he said he wasn't in a rush or could care less about selling so if he wants 18k that's on him. I have a Integra right now with a little bigger setup Borge warner 70 on it and made around 600 and I would still give him 12-14k for this car it's an original e.g. Si and it's probably noteable to him that it's been featured in the magazine which is cool

i understand completely.. I just recently sold a vehicle that I built, and I actually made a few bucks on it, which is rare nowadays.. but it was also a 2014, and had a higher residual value. In the Honda market, whereas most of the cost of the car is mostly ALL mods. If the owner is in no rush to sell, then theres nothing wrong with setting the bar high and waiting forever.. But In the grand scheme of things, and my history of buying and selling modded Hondas for 20 years, I just see it as a longshot

And that is the tough part. The seller is expecting the buyer to pay for all the aftermarket parts he bought and installed according to what HE liked.
Few people will like ALL the parts and very few will be willing to pay top price for USED high end parts. It's a conundrum wrapped in an enigma.

Lets see how long it takes for a part out.
Very nice car by the way.

Each time someone talks **** on the price it bumps the thread, so that's good I guess?

I was in the market/kicking around the idea of buying a "done" car rather than attempt another build. At my age, family status, etc. I just don't have the time/space to build yet another Honda. That said, some people have cash lying around, and will buy someone's "done" car. If this wasn't a ridiculous turbo build priced at 18K I'd have looked VERY hard at it. If it were the exact same minus the insane turbo set-up, and priced around 10K I'd have already messaged the seller. I've paid to ship a daily driver across this entire country before, and I'll do it again one day if I come across THE perfect Honda again.

To the seller:

Good luck man. 18K is steep no matter what, but it's easy to see the build quality is there. It doesn't tale long to rack up 15K on a build once you factor in the cost of GOOD paint, body, trims, glass, interior bits, swap, and turbo stuff. Not to mention engine builds. I like how you're taking it all in stride. You might stand to make the 18K easier by parting out, but if you really don't NEED to sell them you might as well hold out, right?

Price drop $16,500, FIRM. If it doesn't move I'm going to enjoy it and keep it as I have been. I am in no rush to sell. Thanks all.

Would you be willing to sell just the rolling chassis? I love the car.

Nice car sir. Sounds like you are willing to keep the car which is probably realistic given what you need to get $$ and feel good about the sale.

I think its worth going through all of your parts to better understand the value of the car at current market prices. If you get more serious about the sale I would think the marketable price would be a couple grand over part out.

The number of buyers at 16k is very slim

Best of luck!
