Hello, can someone go out and tell me what the thread and pitch of the bolt is for the tailgate strut support is?
I stripped mine and need replacements.

The one that mounts the strut to the body not the ballhead one. It has a 14 mm head but I need the thread and pitch.

The size of the bolt is either m10 1.25 or m10 1.00
I bought m10 1.25 x35 mm long and two plastic sleeves to go over it to replicate the shoulder on the oem bolt.
I got the bolt started and then used a ratchet to run it in(make sure it's straight).
Made new threads and is tight.
Don't bottom it out because the threads could be weak. But it won't come loose anymore.

I will post a picture of what I did. In case anyone has this issue again.
