hey there everyone, I have a first gen JDM B16A in my 90 Ef hatch. I have never had a problem until recently my distributor had seized. I replaced the distributor and when I turn it over it will fire up but RPM will instantly drop to zero in .5 seconds before I even let go of the key and car shuts off. Any help is appreciated

 

could be bad ignition switch. cleaning mine helped but eventually got a new one.

are your cap and rotor contacts clean?

 

Thanks Tamboo I'll try that in a couple of hours when I get home, and yes Marcos they are clean I have good spark I have a brand new distributor and cap and rotor

 

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Are the wires in the correct order?
How's your timing also?

 

You say you have good spark, how did you confirm this and is that on all 4 cylinders? 94
