Default 2005 CRV alarm problem

Ive just been wiring up the electrics for a tow bar and run into a problem with the indicators. My question isn't about this but I think it may be related to the following in some way.
A few months ago the alarm went off for no apparent reason and the only way to stop it was by pulling the Interior Light fuse (10A) in the under bonnet fuse box. Does anyone have any thoughts on why the Interior Light system should cause the alarm to activate continuously??

The interior light is one of the trip points. i.e. If a door open’s it gives a signal to the alarm. If your alarm is going off by this activation I would suggest you check your door pin switches and ground points.

Thanks for the reply. Yep, tried the various door/bonnet switches when the problem first occured. All switches are operating correctly. i.e. reading open and short using a multimeter. Ive tried an internet search for info but all I am getting are sites that want to sell me info or service manuals. I really need to know where the alarm unit is situated and what is monitored other than the door switches. At present, If I re-fit the fuse with all doors/bonnet closed the alarm will sound. With the Interior Lights fuse removed to silence the alarm Ive also lost the rear wiper.
Ive temporarily overcome the problem with wiring my towbar electrics by running a seperate wire (fused) from the battery to the towbar relay.

I believe the alarm box is behind the driver’s plastic kick plate _ Perhaps one of the other members could confirm this.

Edited - Have a look at this link >>> http://www.hondapartsnow.com/install...ity-system.pdf

Is your alarm factory or aftermarket?
