Default Viper alarm question

I recieved a Viper alarm with my GSR when I bought it.

It's been working good, until now.

We had some heavy rain in my area recently and a puddle clogged up my alarm horn. Luckily it began working when I shook it off, then the problem came.

The alarm horn ONLY works when the panic button is pressed, no unlock/lock chirps. At this point the alarm won't sound even when the door is opened while it is armed.

Any suggestions?

I'm very new to Audio/ Security so near with me.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like it's in valet, There are a few other posts floating around with the same problem. Look at the L.E.D., if the light is on constantly, not flashing, then it's in valet.
To take out of valet, on 4 button remote:
1.open door
2.push "arm" button
3.push "disarm" button
4.push "arm" button again.
L.E.D. should turn off, and it's out of valet.
For a 2 button remote:
1.open door
2.push button 1
3.push button 2
4.push button 1, again.
L.E.D. should turn off, and it's out of valet.
hope that's all it is, good luck
