Default Brake switch wiring

99 Accord DX 5 speed sedan.

I'm trying to diagnose a brake light issue I'm having and was just wondering if anyone could tell me which wire goes fromthe brake pedal switch to lights?

The issue I'm having is I don't get brake lights at all when I hit the pedal. I've checked the bulbs and fuse. Before I replace the switch I just want to see if I'm getting a signal out of it to determine whether it's the switch or a broken wire connection somewhere between the switch and the lights which is why I was wondering which wire is the output on the switch

It's either going to be open or closed and it will switch to the other when the switch is pressed. So test for continuity and it will change as you press the switch.

Thanks, that's kind how I was thinking it would work. I've got constant power coming in but brake pedal up or down I don't have anything coming out so I'm guessing it's a bad switch.
