Looking at getting 2012-2015 Civic DX Auto for my mom. Been reading how the 2006-2009 had the R18 block cracking issue. Has Honda fixed the casting issue for the newer models? Also found out how well the motor responds to a turbo at low boost and is something I might do when she gives it to me years later. However I don't like Autos and for me would need to change it to a Manual before the turbo. Would like to know roughly how much $$$ it would cost to convert to manual and the things need. Further more how well would the new casting hold up to turbo? Any links would help!
