JDM H23a swap into 97 Accord DX
Okay guys iv seen a few inconclusive threads on this swap. and im at a total loss. i guess my specific question(s) are
Is the JDM H23a OBD1 or OBD2?
What needs to be done to use my factory engine harness to work with this engine? (iv seen a few write ups on the crank sensor extention and wiring but they dont match my wire colors, not sure of the issue here.
pretty much anything and everything to do with the engine wiring is stumping me. any help would be awesome.

Using Chipped P28 ECU

OBD2 chassis
Using Chipped P28 ECU
H23a is OBD2
add a few wires from the ECU to the v-TECH and something else. i forgot at this moment but will confirm.
motor mounts are the same from f22.
P28 ecu is perfect.
I maintain my H23a manifold,distributor and IACV (have to create a spacer bracket )probably can get one of and old prelude. my buddy fabricated one up.
F22b1 throtle body
H22 headers and wiring basemap ( not to aure, need to confirm with my buddy)
are you keeping your power steering and a/c? i did. but you need a bracket for the power steering.
as for the a/c compressor you can use the f22b bracket to attach it to your h23 engine. also you will need to swap pulleys from h23a to f22b if you plan on keeping power steering...what else?

Im having an issue with the wiring harness set up..Im using the OEM harness from the F22b2 that was in the car. iv already extended the CKP TDC ICM and the CYP, i was told to fuse the larger 3 pin plug for the external coil, got that, but i still have another 2 pin plug that was a distributor related connector. Im confused on the topic of wiring that in, i really dont want to tear apart the dizzy(jdm) i have one peron telling me it should be fine and another telling me i need to take the wires and convert the dizzy to an external coil. can i use a USDM H22a4 dizzy to fix this problem? do i need to do anything more?
im pretty confused on this one thing.
Also the injectors, they came from an H22a4 are they OBD1 or 2, will i need to buy the adapters for them?
