Default Stupid blinkers. Help plz asap

Ok so I have a 96 ej6 dx model with a y8 swap in it the person who did it had no clue what they were doing obviously. So the issue with my blinkers turn left and no signal in front. Back flashes fast and dash flash fast. turn right on column and back right blinker stays steady blinking but left front comes on!!! wtf. So checked grounds replaced bulbs and checked for power all there. flasher works too..changed out switch still does it. hazards work but only in back and left side front. both running lights come on with headlights..fuses good too

Have you remove and inspect the turning bulb and socket of the issue side. May be a lose connection or corrosion.

Yeah I took out the bulbs and tested for power. was good. I've traced the line and it's all good no bad wires, idk why it does left blinker when I turn the switch for going right so like basically it's left front blinking and right back blinking when I fkio switch to the right when I go left only back left blinks and on dash it's going fast

did this just start happening or has it been like this since you bought the car?
Check the wire harness in the engine bay, did the p o crush anything when they put the engine in? crushed wires will cause goofy things to happen.
Look at the wire harness for electric tape being used instead of proper connectors. Maybe the previous wired them wrong. Look for chaffed wires,
Are you using LED lamps? If so put the old ones back in, see if the problem fixes itself. LEDs can cause goofy electrics. Something about how the cheaper ones are assembled

well it looks like you found what the problem is, the wiring harness. When you said no front blinkers when you bought it. Not telling you what to do here, but whenever I buy a boat (thats my real hobby) and I look at the rats nest wiring, I generally just get out the wire cutters and start over. I would rather spend one afternoon in my slip with a six pack and rolls of wire then spend a week stuck at the slip trying to figure out what Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder wired together
