*Help* to install Edm EG ADjustable Headlights
Does anyone have any experience installing Edm Eg Civic power adjustable headlights?
I need some advice..maybe a wiring diagram.
(I have the headlights and the switch)
Any help would be appreciated.

Basically, using the switch that is numbered 0-1-2-3 you can control the height of the light beam. Each headlight has an electric motor on it which gives you on-the-fly control. As opposed to manually adjusting them.

Heheh! Here is the diagram, as promised. Now - apology accepted re: crap cell phone pics .... but what I really want is a pic of the adjuster actuator on the back. Can you please take some good pics of that before you install them? Thanks.... Fellow Canadian.

Has anyone tried removing the electronic adjustment mechanism from the EDM headlights? I want to use them without hooking up the switch and without having that huge thing sticking out of the back. Trying to see if there is a hole or anything behind it.

wiring, switch placement, adjust-ability. installation.
and why would you want to remove the electronic adjust-ability. just spend the 25 each at certifit.

Re: *Help* to install Edm EG ADjustable Headlights
Wait, so what about my question? Haha. I don't want to spend 25 at certifit or whatever because I already have the EDM lights and they are awesome since they have no nipples and are made of glass. I just don't want to hook up the switch since it looks like a PITA, but yes I do have the switch, just not the two pigtails with the male end of the junction connectors:
Also, as a side note: I never hooked up my city lights but am thinking about doing so now. What exactly is going on this picture under the electrical tape so I can see how they spliced the wires into the corner light wires:

Male connectors can be clipped from the engine (near tranny) of any 92-95 Civic. Same connector as in photo. I know this because I've done it.
As for your question - just take power adjuster module off and look! 3 or 4 screws. You won't hurt it.

Re: *Help* to install Edm EG ADjustable Headlights
Ok yeah, I could do that. Haha I just wanted to see if I could find out anything before I did it since the headlights are installed now and the space is a little tight in there to work behind it.
Nevermind, I actually have the male connectors, but not the green connector that goes into the switch itself. I don't know where to get that from.
What about the question I asked about that second picture ^^?

Yeah, I meant the one on the right in that photo. On the USDM headlights, that screw has a phillips head on it. It doesn't look like a phillips head would fit anywhere if you inserted it from the top..
But do you know if that will adjust it vertically or horizontally?

Re: *Help* to install Edm EG ADjustable Headlights
No, look again at your USDM one. It's a similar design, just with a guide for the screwdriver. You insert your Philips head and turn it like a gear. I just looked at an OEM USDM/CDM headlight to double check - it's very very similar.
The adjustment on the right is for horizontal ... since the point of the motor on the left is to adjust vertically to account for a heavy trunk load which points the front end of the car higher and thus alters the aim of the lights.
