H23 Blue Top timing issue
hey guys new to the forum and Honda, picked up a eg a few months ago, dont know if i should be posting here, only reason i am its i swapped a blue top in it. so everything is done and looking good EXCEPT the timing.. cam arrows point up and the line in between run together parallel to the head, now for my dizzy, i used the guts from the single cam in the h23 ob2 housing just to hape it plug and playn and looking neater than having a jumper. Idk if thats my issue or idk what! but at tdc my dizzy rotor point as spark point #2, the car wont start but will throw fire out the header, so i rotated the cables counter clockwize on the cap and she start! but with my foot all the way down on the gas, and wont idle, at wot she only revves to 800rpm. maybe the chipped ecu i bought has a bad tune? this is really braking my head, help would be greatly appreciated!
Correct answer is to eliminate all purchase a obd1 h22 distributor either usdm external coil or internal coil jdm... if you have a chipped ecu is made to be used with obd2 dizzy? get obd1.
