i dont know if the body flex's there but i do know that people make bars that mount in the same spot i noticed my car seems to handle better a little bit id say it is just like adding another strut bar its the same feeling.
i was wondering..is it wise to make home made strut bars ?

yes i can get the spare out no problem.
as far as strut bars i dont know about that its a little harder because of welding but it can be done at home

if you just bend a bar you're going to decrease it's strenth. They are heat bended and then welded onto brackets. Don't go ghetto with this stuf unless you're handy with a welder
emerica is right about strut bars i wouldnt bend them id try to make a straight piece and i wouldnt use the metal i used for my strong bar for a strut bar
