My integra is acting weird and I can't seem to find the problem.
So I drove on the freeway and when i changed lanes, the whole car shakes a lot and steering wheel go left and right like crazy,
Then I try to replicate the problem, but I cant. Then the next day I went on the freeway and switched lanes. Right when i went over the little pavement markers, it did the same steering wheel shaking left and right and the whole car shakes like crazy again. I tried to go over the little pavement markers again to see what's going on, but it won't shake again. It just happens randomly, so I don't even know what it can be. Anyone know what this problem can be? Is it the motor mounts, axles, hub bearing, or suspension?

 

Have you jacked the car up and shaken the wheels to check for looseness?

 

I actually just did it today and it's not loose or anything.

 

with the car on the ground, grab the tire (by the pu$$&...err...the top), and pull/push on it pretty hard. Any looseness in the upper ball joint?

 

Ball joints, maybe tie rods would be my first guess.

If you can't figure it out I'd honestly recommend just taking it to an alignment shop and having them check it out on a lift. They'd be able to figure out pretty quickly what's off with it most likely, and that issue is actually pretty serious/dangerous in the wrong situation.

 

Yeah i tried shaking the wheel, but nothing is wrong with it. I'll probably take it to a shop because its pretty damn scary when it shakes. Like the whole damn car and steering wheel shakes like crazy

 

This may sound crazy but it might be a caliper problem . Check your brake pads for abnormal wear . I have seen issues like this on Accords and Crv's . Caliper is sticking heating up the rotor to the point of crazy shaking . When i saw this it was tough to diagnose as it was not consistent .

 

I had a tire that was causing a pull/shudder, yanked it off the wheel previous owner had a repair done....with what looked to be roofing mastic...a lot of it.

 

Shocks are blown.

OP check the subframe for damage.
