Default Hood pins?

im looking for hood pins for an 89 crx does anybody have any recomendations? does anyone have experiance with the ebay universal ones? not really looking to spend to much but i do want a quality set

Can I ask are you actually doing it for a particular requirement or are you just doing it for the looks?

Pretty much this. It's a pin with a cotter pin through it.

i got a shell and no hood latch lol I honestly figured the pins would just be a way simpler option lol

Yikes that sucks. Well I'd imagine any set would work for your situation. I couldn't give you any insight on ebay "brand" sets but I'd look into something that has key locks if you're set on cutting up your hood.

I used quik-latch minis on my friend's jeep, they work great but the larger ones would probably be easier to open. For reference, the "button" that you press to unlatch them is smaller than a dime, sometimes it hurts the fingertips a little when unlatching the hood. That being said, the price point is insanely better for the minis, lol. $60 vs $250.
