I have a 2001 Honda Accord 4cy sedan with automatic transmission with 106k miles , So I been looking around n can't find my issue.its automatic transmission,,, and every time I put the car into reverse or drive it's takes awhile to go into gear! And when it does it hits hard! But once it's in drive it goes thru the gears just fine! But if I come into a stop to fast I have to wait till the transmission catches up with itself then slams into 1st gear to hard but if I come into a stop very slowly it won't downshift into 1st hard cuz I went into the stop slowly! This is definitely not right! Tranny fluid is fine! What could my problem be? Thanks ,, be easy with me I'm a newbie!

 

Check Shift solenoid C. It would affect both delay into Reverse and the 1st gear shift issue.
