I just picked up a 2006 Honda CRV with only 50k miles on it. Its a canadian EX-L model, same as USA SE I believe. Heated leather seats, sunroof, etc. Very nice. I even made sure to have it inspected before purchase and it passed with flying colors.

So I drove it to work today for my first real drive...and i turned one corner and noticed the dash lights flickered as well as the HVAC and radio cut-out for a brief millisecond...the car kept driving just fine.

Then at a idling at a stop light same thing happened...but the car did not stall, everything just cut out for a brief millisecond.

The car has aftermarket command start installed...it works fine, but I'm thinking this might be the culprit? Anyone have any other idea's what it might be?

I checked the battery posts incase they were loose..and they are tight...only the positive terminal has lot of corrosion going on that I will clean tonight...not sure if that makes any difference?

Really hoping someone might have some ideas as of where to start looking!

 

With so few miles I would start looking where other "professionals" have been mucking about. You have a wiring issue. Unfortunately you will be taking off lots of plastic to find it.

It sounds like your problem is bad enough that wiggling connections/junctions should reproduce the problem.
