I started experiencing an issue yesterday evening where a grinding noise was coming from the passenger rear side. It was more pronounced when making a right turn (or moving over to a right lane). It worsen today, where the noise was pretty constant (except for when making a left turn).
In daylight, I was able to take a brief look. You can see in the pictures that the inside part of my wheel is grinding on part of the suspension (pictures 1 and 2) that has left metal shavings (picture 3). Also, with the vehicle parked, on the ground, I was able to grab the wheel and give it a shake and there was a lot of play in it. I compared it to the driver side rear, and there was no wiggle there. Also, I can feel/see that the driver rear side has clearance and is not touching. This problem side has the inside of my wheel basically just touching/sitting on that suspension part. At first I thought it was due to low tire pressure. But even after making sure the pressure was at the recommended level on all 4 tires, it's still touching on that one side.
Any help with what may have caused this issue? In looking at my vehicle paperwork/records, I've driven this car for only around 500 miles in 18 months or so. And the last 100+ miles was within the last week because my yearly inspection was expiring and I had several not ready's that needed to be cleared (had battery disconnected). So I don't drive this vehicle on a regular basis, to say the least.
As far as the suspension is concerned, I have Eibach progressive springs, Tokico Blue struts, Skunk2 lower control arms and camber kit. Not a gearhead in anyway, but it looks like that part the wheel is rubbing on is the camber kit (if that helps to solve this mystery). That setup was done about (approx) 2000 miles ago. Prior to that, it was all stock suspension parts.
Could the upper control arm came loose? Adjustable type?
Something is not tighten down. Compare both side of same part and bolts and see what is out of place.
I have not had time to take things apart to verify, but I believe the problem is the rear camber kit. Specifically, it looks like the bushings(?) are falling apart.
Since I didn't install the kit myself, my questions are: is that one bushing or two on the end that's attached to the frame of the vehicle? The parts circled in red - is that actually one piece or two pieces? Where can I purchase replacement bushings for this particular Skunk2 part (Skunk2 516-05-0500)?
Thanks again for everyone's help.

2 piece bushing base n info off their (skunk2) website. google may yield how to for replacing the bushings. Good luck.
You may also want to try putting the stock upper control arm back on, to see if that is what the problem is. Junkyard will yield usable cheap part..
