what o2 sensor do i need?
Im doing a d15b7/z6 mini-me swap in a 92 dx hatchback. Im running an aftermarket 4-2-1 z6 header with a stock b7 intake manifold and throtlebody on a z6 head matted to a b7 block. My po6 ecu will be chipped and programed with a custom basemap to work with the dx trans, b7 block, and z6 head. Anyways... I couldnt get the o2 sensor off of the old exhaust manifold so im just going to buy a new one. My question is what o2 sensor should i get? A 1.5L o2 sensor or the 1.6L o2 sensor? Does it matter and/or should i just do an o2 sensor delete via ecu chip? Please help
I don't see why it would matter on the o2 but I'd go with z6 to be safe.
Dude, you should get a p28 chipped and a z6 intake manifold as well as transmission. The p28 will give you lots of room for different setups in the future.
Without that you really can't be any faster than a bolt on a6 hahaha

Honestly im just trying to get my car running again
Later on down the road i will build the motor but as of now im on a tight budget and need my car to get back and forth to work lol. Ive read alot of forums so im partialy aware of what will give me more power and what wont. But as i said im on a budget and working with what little resorces i have atm. But anyways thats what i was thinking go with the 1.6L o2 sensor but wasnt sure if it would make a differance or not if i went with the 1.5L so ill take your advice and go with the 1.6L o2 sensor just to be on the safe side.
Also i was actualy thinking of getting a p28 and having it chipped but that will be later down the road.
Thank you for the info i appreciate it 👌👍
