how to get rid of brake fluid stain... =(
hey, guys.. my friend accedently poor some brake fluid on my new sweater... 
i washed it couple times but it won't just go away!!
does anyone know how to get rid of it? the stain is size of my face...
PS. sorry if this is a dumb question but i really like this sweater..

Should have posted it on the Housekeeping/Laundry forum. Seriously the same thing happened to me I had to toss my shirt.

use Oxyclean. You can pick it up at Sears. If that doesn;t take it out, then your SOL. Oxyclean should do it and it smells

yeah...brake fluid is the devil! takes the paint off of your car, the ground, and its not cool to be getting on your clothes....i say just keep your sweater as a shop sweater now.....work on your car type of clothes
