Default Car trouble

What's up guys, I have a 2000 acura integra that I've been having issues with the past couple months. It wouldn't start after a rain storm and my passenger side got flooded, it finally started but sometimes it just cranks and takes a couple tries to start it up but it does and when I drive it long enough for it to be warmed up and then I park and shut it off it doesn't start for a few hours. I'm not sure where to even start and I've been going at it for a couple months now so if anybody has any suggestions that would be great! Thanks guys

Do it have a check engine light on? Look at the stickies to see how to pull up the code. Or go to your local parts store and have them pull it.

I have a check engine light cause I swapped it from auto to manual. And cause I don't have an o2 sensor at the moment but other then that there was no other codes last time I checked but I'll have to check again

If the pass. side "flooded" there may be water damage to the ECU. pull the ECU and open it up and inspect for water damage.

FYI The most common cause of "flooding" on pass side of car is plugged drains at either end of fresh air intake, under valance, water fills up the area under the valance until level is above the fresh air intake and the water flows in the intake through the blower motor housing and onto the floor, this needs to be fixed ASAP.

Other causes of intermittent no start after warming up is a bad coil, a bad ICM, [igniter] or a bad PGM-FI Main Relay all are susceptible to heat related failure the coil and ICM can be tested with a multimeter the PGM-FI Main Relay is a common problem and is easily diagnosed all you need to do is listen for the fuel pump priming when the ign. switch is turned on to run, [not all the way to start] if engine does not start, turn ign off wait a sec. then turn it on to run and listen, fuel pump will prime, [run] for no more then a few sec, then stop.

You should also confirm both electrical and mechanical timing and spark, [use an HEI spark tester to check spark at each cylinder] should have bright blue spark. 94 94

Well the car got flooded back in August cause of a really bad rainstorm we had so that's why the passenger side got flooded, my ecu did get wet but I've owned it up a couple times and there's no water damage. I replaced my distributor about 6 months ago but idk if maybe it went bad on me I have to check. Another thing I ever noticed is when I do go to start it, the only time it starts up is when the battery drains down to almost no cranking at all. And then it starts and if I let it run for a little to recharge the battery and shut it off it won't start till the battery has drained down again.. I find this to be the weirdest thing I've ever seen on a car.
