After a little bit of driving on the highway going about 70 - 80 mph. My car acted as if it died.. But the thing is the RPM's went from 4k to 0 with no warning. Pushing the gas it would not move from the 0 RPM point.. after playing around with the gas, it shot back up to where it should be in 5th gear.
But the thing with it is the engine was still running.. i didn't have to turn the key to start the engine or anything. This has never happened until about 3 days ago after i put a bunch of money in the front suspension and put new tires on her..

Then last night omw home from work.. it died once at a light. I sat for a minute and turned the key over and it started no issues at all and got home.
Was told it could be a fuel issue.. or whatever but i need someone else idea on what this may be.

Also check the PGM-FI Main Relay, can be hard to do as it needs to be done when engine stalls, an instant lose of engine and no tach points to the ICM, but a lose of power to the injectors, [PGM-FI Main Relay] would also result in an instant lose of engine power. both the ICM and the PGM-FI Nain Relay are prone to intermittent failure. 94

 

I'm kinda leaning towards the main relay as well, at first I was gonna say the icm but after I read further I think the issue is elsewhere because OP stated he could get the car started after 1 try. I've had an icm fail on me before, the rpm's went to zero and the car just puttered to a stop. This is could be something else.
