You either have the wrong coilovers, or the wrong forks.

Then you need to get EG lower forks. Sounds like you got some DA or CRX ones.

I don't recall, but if you really have the correct dampers, and they are EG, then it's very likely you have DA/EF front forks. Not many forks in this chassis line. It's either too small, or too big. If your's is too big, then there is only 1 other fork to try lol. The EF/DA forks have an ID of 1.502" and the EG ones were 1.650".

Simplest way to put it
if coilovers fronts are too small in diameter to fit in your forks
then u have Ef/da fronts with eg/dc forks

if ur coilovers are too big and won't fit the forks
then u have eg/dc fronts with Ef/ da forks

so with that in mind
it looks to me from what you're deacribing
you have Ef/da fronts trying to slide into eg forks
go find a 88-91 civic/ idk year da but 89-93? Da parts car and grab the correct forks (should cost u $10-$30 bucks)
and voila
^this is for first post
u said front struts too small

youre second post regarding "skunk2"
that part like above said u probably gotten Ef/da spec
and are trying to put it onto eg forks so go find a 92-00/94-01 and grab front forks

also u need to be more specific
do u have front coilovers that are too small to fit the form
or do u have front coilovers that are too big to fit the fork

first post u say coilovers too small to fit fork
second post u say coilovers too big to fit fork

FWIW, there are more forks than just EF and EG. plenty of Accords , Civics, and Acuras built after the EF and EG came with forks.

I am running skunk2 now I'm trying to put some max speeding rods coilover on but they are smaller then the skunk2 ones When you drop them in the fork and tighten them up

If they are smaller than the skunk 2, then you do not have a setup for the EG/DC2 chassis, you have a setup made for the EF/CRX/DA. Did my post not clearly explain this? I build coilovers for a living. Were all these post necessary for you to figure this out. It's clear you don't have the right product if your skunk2 indeed are larger, and fit into the fork just fine. Your answers is right in front of you, you don't have the right set of coilovers if those maxspeed are smaller lol.
