Anyone find somewhere to get wiper arms for EG civic. I think they are all the same from hatch, coupe or sedan but Honda looks to have discontinued them.

I can't seem to find anyone who makes them aftermarket at all...not even dorman has a part number...

Anybody have a good line on some new? My old ones are doing the normal flaking off of the black like they always do....and they look like crap

 

Sand, prime, and repaint. It's easy. Even I was able to do it.

 

I repainted my fronts with Duplicolor trim paint and it seems to be sticking.

My rear one seems to be rusted on pretty solid, however, so it's still nasty.

Kinda what I thought I would get...I've tried painting them in the past and it didn't stick so well. Mabe I'll give actual powder coating a try. These are for a looky looky car with a wire tuck and new paint...etc....so I want them to look new.

Did you sand and prime prior to painting?

 

On mine I took it down to bare metal with a wire cup, then did a quick hit with sandpaper and wax/grease remover, primed with self-etch primer and then hit it with the Duplicolor trim paint.

Paint sticks poorly to bug guts

 

It sounds a bit goofy, but I sanded mine down to bare metal and just sprayed them with flat black BBQ grill paint I had on hand. That's been a little over five years ago and they still look pretty good.
