2004 Honda Accord LX 5-speed MT wont shift into any gear?
Hello, I own a 4-cylinder 2004 Honda Accord LX 4 5-Speed MT. I recently had a clutch fluid flush done on the vehicle since I was having trouble popping it into gears at times. For the first two days after the flush, it shifted amazingly (it was sometimes hard to put into first, but other than that, shifting was smooth). However when I attempted to drive my car this morning, my car did not want to pop into any gear (including reverse). When I would try to move the gear selector into any gear, I could feel the car trying to lurch forward - but since the gear selector was stiff and did not want to move into any gear, the car would just stay put. Any idea what this issue is? I bought this car 3 months ago and I had it inspected before purchase by a trusted mechanic - they told me the vehicle had no issues whatsoever. It would be quite disappointing if I would need to do a costly repair, since I really don't have/nor want to put any money down on this car. Your advice is appreciated, thanks.
Note: The lady I purchased the vehicle from said the clutch has never been replaced...I'm currently sitting at 124k miles (bought the car at 123k). Could that potentially be the issue?
