right now i have 15,000 miles. has been tracked a couple times at most. I probably need to change them, but is there anything else I need to change along with the plugs??? And secondly I think I saw a past post that recommended the stock plugs over aftermarket. Just checking. thanks for all the help guys.
I changed mine around 30k and noticed a big difference. At the very least make sure yours are gapped correctly.
I replaced mine with BERU Silverstone S3F

I clean my spark plugs with a high grit sandpaper, and wipe them off good with some gas.
That's only when I'm bored though. I think stock plugs should be replaced @60k miles. Platinums are about 20k I believe..

if your putting sand paper to the spark plug you might be sanding off the platnim finish... and also making the gap bigger...
Just use chemicals or buy new- for .99 I buy Champion RC12MC4 they last 7-10k miles and work good.

I bought my Silverstones from Nology...but I've since found cheaper (I just forget where

I would recommend shopping around a bit.

Does anyone know the benefits of using copper plugs? Any?
I remember reading a loong time ago that copper plugs perform better (in what way, i cant remember) but dont last nearly as long as platinum tipped plugs.

stock plugs is all i use.. - with stock ecu its easy to run healthy to 40K miles, but good idea to have them checked at least every 30K... with aftermarket ecu/ignition/changed timing - its a good idea to cut it down to 10-15K..
also check dist. rotor - make sure its not fried or anything.. -
maybe distribur cap - should be fine at 15K
