Default Question Regarding Water Pump Replacement

Plan to do this at some point and have a question regarding something that is mentioned in the Acura Service Manual 1996 Integra.

Do I need to remove the cam pulley's and rear timing cover to change the water pump on a JDM B18C!?

Thanks,
Tom

If you are talking about the upper and lower plastic covers on the timing belt side then yes you do need to remove both. Might as well change the timing belt and tensioner since you are there anyway.

I think he's talking about the plastic behind the timing cover. If thats the case, no you don't hace to remove it.
