Bent CV shaft?
I think I may have a bent CV shaft but how can I check to see if it really is? I have a kind of a "hopping" sensation that occurs from the right front corner mainly between 15-30 mph and it varies with speed. Wheels and tires are good as are the hub bearings. I suspect a bent shaft or spindle because the right front has hit the curb a bit hard a couple of times in the recent past. Any help is appreciated!
CV axles inner tripod joint telescopes as the axles effective length changes through suspension travel. Highly unlikely that the axle would be bent from such an impact. Knuckle is malleable, it can be bent, wheels can be bent or cracked, check for any missing weights. Swap a wheel from the rear to the front, or using the spare, and see if the hopping moves or disappears to eliminate the wheel.
Smacking the curb, hard enough, on an Accord can also shift its subframe(Honda calls them 'Beams') about which would cause a misalignment issue. Check that the radius rod is also not been damaged or it's bushing.
