All, I've been researching for days now. I know that it has been done before and I wished I've read more back then. I saw a few pictures online but I just dont know how to execute the fabrication.

I have a very unique project. I have a 69 VW Karmann Ghia and I plan on converting to a B series motor. I'd like to apply the same concept as what the DelSol people are doing dropping K or J motors in the trunk.... basically chopping an entire front end of a donor civic/teg and rewelding to the DelSol's rear. I'm sure you get the idea.... B- series can be done the same as well however I am really puzzled with the transmission in which the shift linkage will be facing the rear side. Are there any kits of even a fab method that I can do to make an adapter to mechanically make this work. K or J would be much easier due to cable trans but I am not familiar with the electrical conversion as I do with D/B/H series. I know that there are Subie (EJ2xx) conversions out there for a Ghia but I'd like to try something different.
