Default Hondabond vs The right stuff

Hello guys,

I have a 2014 civic SI and I was wondering which would work better on the oil pan, I have both Hondabond HF and The right stuff black by Permatex. I've heard good and bad things about both, so I was wondering which one would be better at preventing a leak. Also, my friend who works at honda told me I need to let the hondabond dry for 24 hours, while the right stuff says it dries in 5 minutes. Anyone have experience with any of these?

Thanks,
Mark

Permatex makes a Ultra grey silicone thats compatible with Hondabond HF. I have used it many times on transmission and oil pans with good results.
