P0133 bank 1 sensor 1 slow response
I have a 98 GSR and ive changed the B1S1 oxygen sensor and the code has came back and it says slow response ive changed ECT changed the MAP sensor and this code keeps coming back has anyone have any suggestions to what could be causing this code on the car by any chance or fixed it??
The primary O2 sensor fluctuates between lean and rich during cruising, basically like an on/off switch. This is why they are called narrow band sensors. If the sensor reads lean, the ECU increases the fuel trim, and vice versa. The point of this is to run the engine at optimal efficiency (stoich), burning all the gas and making the most use out of the energy.
If for some reason the ECU is not able to adjust in time, and the sensor does not read 1/0/1/0/1/0, but instead sends 1/0/1/1/1/0/1/1/1/0, you will get the code.
Hopefully that helps with your troubleshooting. A common cause for this is the exhaust gas is getting leaked out before the PriO2, since you said you already replaced the sensor. My exhaust manifold cracked in half and I got this code for a few weeks before I realized what had happened.

well i looked and i saw i had a crack on the header i changed it opened the 02 sensor and saw that it was black i cleaned it out and deleted the light then a few days after the light came right back on for the same code anything else that could be leading me to having the slow response?
