So been in and out of hondas over the past while. I picked this car up a few years ago to use as my winter daily. Plans changed a bit and ended having to refresh alot of the car and have used it at a few track days.
purchased around 2012
Plans were to drive it with a B20 and LS transmission and tune it to get best mileage possible using an AEM EMS
after a winter of being a champ ( -40degrees start up no problem ) it was finally spring, after looking at the car, more than I thought needed attention
transmission needed syncros, rear trailing arms needed bushings, needed front bearings, shocks were blown
So where to start .
ordered some hard race bushings and started the saga.
Replaced blown suspension with new AGX and HnR lowering springs. What a great and responsive setup. I was so happy with it. Tried it out a few times at track
Nice start man, keep it up. I see you have been lapping at Shannonville, I usually get out there once a year, its pretty basic but I like the track a lot. It seems like it was a bigger deal in the 80's and 90's and since then hasn't been updated. I see your from Ottawa, have you been to Calabogie yet?

Thanks, odd thing to do this with a winter car, but its keeping the smiles going. Yes I really like shannonville. Always a good time there. As for calabogie, amazing track was there last week and going tomorrow. (wish I had a little more power, but hey its all fun ) .

these were from last week
Nice! I'm liking the Team Dynamics, I am hoping to find a set for my car eventually.
I have only been to Calabogie once, but all the decreasing radius sections make it challenging.
And nothing wrong with a B16. There is lots of potential for a good reliable track car with one.
Installed a Yonaka full radiator ( from Dc2 ) and everything was super reliable for 40 minutes at a time on track. I will do a review of the radiator and exhaust at some point. Highly recommend Yonaka items for price to value ! .
