Axle won't fit in wheel hub

I have a 91 Honda, swap with b16 replacing the axle and bought 91 yet axle for the passenger side and will not fit in, is there a specific axle I need?

You need a b series axle.

If you bought an axle for a "91 Honda Civic" that is for a d series motor and transmission.
