Default 98 EX Boiling resevoir and leak by throttle body

Hello I just bought a 98 Civic Ex after being carless for months due to blown head gaskets in my 98 Lx. Car drives amazing is really clean, but I the valve cover blew on me and it overheated. Replaced the valve cover and the oil loss stopped and it hasn't overheated after taking it around the neighborhood for awhile. However, after awhile the reservoir will start boiling and somewhere in front of the driverside below the throttle body (timing belt area) there is a small water leak. It's hard to pinpoint where's it's coming from. Does anybody have any advice to help me I'm so scared it's another head gasket issue D':

Did you recently replace the head gasket?

Sounds like the water pump is leaking, and that the head gasket is blown.

Drivers side leak indicates a water pump seal.

Recently used liquid aluminum for the cooling system seems to have stopped the issue for a good couple hundred miles but I am finding coolant loss everything day in the reservoir. A solid day of driving costs have the reservoir. Driving has been great but there's still that water leak. Oil is not discolored neither is the coolant so I don't think it's the head gasket

If the engine has a lot of miles and no recent rebuild do this: Pull the plugs, and with a flashlight look down the holes at the tops of the pistons (you may need to rotate the crank with a ratchet on the pulley). If any of them are shiny aluminum colored = bad head gasket.

The fact that the engine overheated makes it likely that the head is warped and therefore head gasket doesn't seal.

Your car is in desperate need of some repairs. If you're un able to do a water pump and replace worn hoses I suggest you take it to a mechanic. You probably blew another head gasket, or at the very least need new heater hoses and a water pump
