Default New with an 98 Accord

Hello, my name is Lydell and I signed up here so I can get some ideas and help from members here who have experience in customizing cars. I recently brought a used 98 Honda Accord. 270k miles, runs fine, the inside is a bit beat up and warned and the body have minor rust. So, I thought I should give it a make over replacing everything. I would like to start with the interior first. Redo the Dashboard, give it some illuminated lights going on, change the carpet, take out that lame stereo system and replace it with a navigation system (if possible), change the manual locks into power locks, Steering Wheel, pedals etc.

The problem I have is my limited knowledge on cars and where to get parts etc. I don't want to waste money and get parts that doesn't go on a 98 accord so I signed here to seek help from others who know what they are doing. The pics I've attached is the inside that I want to change. I hope to be pointed in the right direction.

Thank you
Ly

You should look into hondasociety also. It's an only accord thread. Best thing to do is to take care of maintenance first and keeping it clean and simple to begin until you know what route your going to take with your build. Just look up accord cl1 and you can't go wrong with imitating them.
