i know i know you guys hate the words mini me but here it goes
i have a 89 hatch with a b2 i recently bought a d15b7 y8 head z6 intake si tranny murdered wire harness. so i raced a guy a while back and he flipped his eg doing 95 righ behind me and i ended up buying his set up so the tranny obviosly wont work but like i said d15b7 block y8 head and z6 intake i noticed the rings were going when it was in the car running so i knew i couldent just drop it in right away so ive taken it apart completly and im almost ready for machining work i just want opinions on dos and dont of my original plan
so i want the cylinders honed deck resurfaced and head aswell high compresion pistons forged rods and new bearings in the bottom end and for the head i was just going to get it port and polished with a stage 2 cam from skunk or something i have a p28 ecu y8 dizzy (im going to buy a brand new altornator and starter when i do the swap), fucked up but usable harness (i also have a mint zc harness or would that not work?) y8 cam gear head studs and thats pretty much it i can put the whole motor back together and fire it up in the eg its all there. i just donnt know what else il need after i do the high comp pistons rods main bearings and cams port polish. i know im not very direct and i apologize im just stressing about the swap i just need to be sure im getting the right parts and help i dont know if i should do the fuel rail and injectors and adjustable cam gear before or after. the swap. and just out of curiosity the question of the century how much hp do you think i can push theres a team called speedfactory local here in washington where ill take it to after the swap to get it chiped and dyno tuned thanks any input is greatly appreciated!!!
