So i am finishing turboing my car. Its an ej sedan. Lx model.
I bought new clutch kit, with both bearings, also bought new flywheel. With the engine out of the car for the turbo portion of my build i replaced all of the above parts. The tranny still in the car I slid the throw out bearing off the fork and re installed the new one. Also new bearing in the flywheel as well. Clutch disc and pressure plate installed properly facing correct direction.
Now the issue after re assymbly. The car drove fine before thentear down. I just had an old clutch and had the chance to replace it.
The car starts, the pedal was a little soft so i bled it. Bled it until there was just fluid going into the bottle. The shifter is floppy feeling though, it goes through the gears but in the gear it moves around in any position.
With the engine running it kind of goes in first gear but it boggs and is sluggish, pressing the gas does nothing.
It also doesnt shift into reverse at all as if its missing completely.
Please help. Ive been searching all over and still havent tried to adjust my clutch pedal because i dont want to mess anything up once its corrected. Like i said before the car ran fine before i tore it apart.

Also while i had the linkage off i removed the bitch pin and put in a bolt and nut in its place. It now seems thats the reason for the sloppy shifter feeling. But not the source of the main problem including no reverse.
It sounds like you did not install something properly.
I would insure both the change rod and change extension are properly installed... Honda Automotive Parts 94

Put the proper pin in. If you can't swing the shift forks all the way over, you won't have reverse. It sounds like it is so sloppy that the only gears you can get are 3 and 4. Trying to take off in 3 the car will try to move some but obviously bog the engine.
If the problem were the clutch not releasing the gears would grind trying to go to reverse with the engine running. And the forward gears would be locked out, couldn't move the lever forward or backward out of the neutral position to them.

Thanks, def was the bitch pin. I put it back in and now everything feels like new, as it should. I havent driven the car yet tho, new issue popped up having 0 oil pressure.
